“Alright, dear gremlins, let’s continue the story…
Airi descended to the lower level of the orbital station ‘Bloodsucker Station.’
Zeros and Blindy… were preparing for the jump—”
[A heavy, dull THUD echoed through the studio. Ma Dong-Rho had just slammed the barrel onto the floor. Wiping his mouth with the back of his hand, he muttered:]
“What the hell are you talking about them for?
Those two half-baked idiots… I couldn’t stand them…
Well… until one time they came in handy on a job.
Actually… they really helped. Heh…So I made those bastards rich.
You better tell MY story. The LEGENDARY one—”
[Jackie cut him off instantly, flushed with anger:]
“Samchon! We know. And we ALREADY told that story—
the one where because of you Zeros… wiped out a planet full of people.
We’re going to talk about that again. At home.
And this time, you’re not dodging it like last time.
RIGHT NOW. DO. NOT. INTERRUPT!”
[Dick pretended he saw and heard absolutely nothing. He took a deep breath, switched into full "professional survival mode," focused on the mic, and continued:]
“Oh Todd, you piece of shit… what the hell did you drag me into… I did not sign up for this.
Alright… continuing.”
Blindy, Zeros, and Shiori stood in the rear section of the ship.
Airi, in her signature cute onboard voice, announced:
“Shiori-sensei, opening the airlock in 60 seconds.
Please put on masks. σ[≧ε≦σ]♡”
Shiori picked up three gas masks
and first offered one to Zeros.
He raised a hand, refusing.
“No need. I don’t breathe.”
She nodded and handed the next one to Blindy.
He stared at the mask for a few seconds…
then exploded:
“WHAT—what the FUCK is this?!
I— I was— back then I was out there— I almost choked,
like— ACTUALLY died, just— air gone— DONE—
and you—you had a MASK?!
The whole time?! THE WHOLE TIME, AIRI?!You—you didn’t tell me—
no, wait—you knew—you knew and you just—what, watched me?!That’s— that’s not normal—
that’s some messed up—what is that—like a betrayal system or—AIRI!
You did that on purpose, didn’t you?!
You just— you just LET it happen?!”
He grabbed the mask angrily and shoved it onto his head.
The lenses lit up with an interface.
From the front extended a hose leading to…
…a canister Shiori strapped onto his back.
Under the weight, he let out a squeak,
but through the mask it came out as a muffled “mmmf!”
Airi announced:
“10 seconds until air release
and airlock opening.”
Shiori put on her own mask,
secured the canister,
and the three of them stood in front of the airlock.
“Go… yon… san… ni… ichi…
Kōun o inoru! ଘ[੭ˊᵕˋ]੭ ੈ✩‧₊˚*”
The airlock began to open
but, to Blindy’s surprise, this time he wasn’t being ripped into the vacuum like before.
Because the air had already been completely drained.
He decided the only reason for that
was because Shiori was with them now.
Blindy screamed from inside the mask, muffled, offended, and desperate:
“AIRI, YOU PIECE OF SHIT!”
Outside, of course, nothing could be heard.
No air means no sound.
Only the vibrations of his humiliation.
[Dick, lazily chewing on something crunchy]
“And yeah… gremlins…
remember how last time Blindy almost died? That’s because Shiori wasn’t with them back then.
Airi might enjoy suffering… well, more like she enjoys it when Blindy’s the one suffering…
but the moment her mistress is around, she turns into a perfect nurse.Polite. Careful. By the book.
Yeah… it happens. Anyway… let’s keep moving.”
